Biography

Thomas Lauth is the owner and lead investigator of Lauth Investigations International, Inc. Thomas founded Lauth Investigations in 1995 and headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, with offices in Colorado and Florida. Thomas has 20 years of experience in attorney and criminal investigations, insurance and worker's compensation, personal and corporate investigations and security, homicide and missing person investigations. Lauth Investigations works in partnership with law firms in litigation matters, assisting attorneys, paralegals, and litigation departments to help generate and disseminate reliable information in various arrangements.

Experience

  • Criminal Investigator and Owner of Lauth Investigations International (1993-Present) Currently serves as a Referral Investigator for various attorneys, defendants, insurance companies, and the public in conducting criminal investigations and death investigations within Indiana.
  • Senior Criminal Investigator, Marion County Public Defender Agency, conducting comprehensive criminal investigations for the representation of indigent defendants.
  • Continues to work cooperatively with local, state, and Federal law enforcement agencies including INTERPOL, FBI, US State Department, and foreign embassies.
  • Appointed numerous times by State and Federal Courts to conduct independent investigations of homicides, robbery, and serious felony matters.
  • Served as both state and federal expert prosecution and defense witness on numerous missing person and homicide cases.
  • Provided investigative services to Nation's Missing Children Organization and the National Center for Missing Adults for approximately 17 years during its operation in Phoenix, AZ.
  • Continues to specialize in the investigation of missing person cases working directly with families nationwide.
  • Lauth works with local and national media as an expert on missing person cases.
